Dear friends,
We’re excited to announce the Up to Us campus competition, a joint effort between CGI U, Net Impact, and the Peter G. Peterson Foundation. This year-long competition helps students at colleges and universities across the country to educate their peers and inspire collective action around America’s long-term fiscal and economic challenges. Students can apply online through September 16, 2012.
Over the course of the 2012-13 academic year, student teams will design and run thought-provoking, fun, and impactful campaigns around the effects of rising federal debt on economic opportunity and investment in the future. The winning team will be announced at CGI U 2013 and recognized by President Clinton. The team will also receive a cash prize, along with training, resources, and guidance from high-profile leaders from both the public and private sectors.
To learn more and apply, visit the competition’s website at: itsuptous.org.
Sincerely,
The CGI U Team
